A2D is a luxury travel & concierge operator in Northern Europe. We are growing fast and are now looking to hire an experienced, English speaking Travel Expert specialising in Africa or Asia to join our brand new offices in Antwerp.

The Travel Expert is involved in all stages of the client’s journey, from initial enquiry through to delivery and after sales customer relations. It is a multifaceted role requiring excellent client-facing and organisational skills and serves as an integral part of the A2D team.

Role Specifics:

  • Be the first point of contact for all incoming travel enquiries, demonstrating and communicating a comprehensive understanding of A2D and its full range of services.

  • Liaise with new clients to fully understand their travel requirements and guide them through the initial stages of the enquiry process, using your expert knowledge to offer destination inspiration and travel experience options.

  • Work in close collaboration with overseas partners to create bespoke travel itineraries that are accurate, well presented and communicated in a timely manner.

  • Create travel documents and proposals

  • Book flights, hotels and other travel related products and services when required.

  • Manage the client relationship throughout the entire process including initial enquiry, pre-sales, booking, remote support and post sales account management.

  • Ensure the highest level of customer service and professional standards are met at all times.

  • Work in close collaboration with other members of the A2D team to ensure best practice for each stage of the sales delivery process.

  • Accurately record customer information in A2D’s CRM system.

Skills Required:

  • 3+ years’ experience working in the luxury travel or hospitality industries

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)

  • Other languages preferable but not essential: Dutch, French, Danish, Norwegian or


  • Confidence to communicate with clients at all levels

  • Previous customer service experience, preferably from the luxury travel, leisure or

    hospitality industries.

  • Amadeus and IATA experience preferable but not essential

  • Excellent administrative skills

  • Highly organised with acute attention to detail

  • Ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure, prioritise workload, problem-

    solve and multi-task

  • A can-do attitude and passion for delivering excellence
